It depends on the service. As a rough guide: a maintenance detail takes 45 minutes to around an hour and twenty; a deep clean takes one and a half to two hours; and paint correction with ceramic coating can take anywhere from four to six hours up to one to two full days, depending on the level of correction required. We never rush a job – quality always comes first, and we’ll always give you a realistic time estimate before we start.

We provide mobile car detailing across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, London, Essex, and surrounding areas. We’re based in Hertfordshire and can travel to your home, workplace, or any other convenient location. For larger jobs such as full paint correction and ceramic coating, we also welcome customers to our detailing studio. Yes. Our mobile detailing van is completely self-sufficient, fitted with a 350-litre onboard water tank and professional equipment. We can deliver showroom-quality results directly at your home or workplace – all we ask for is access to a standard power socket. No hose, no tap, no problem.

Not at all. As long as we have access to your vehicle and a nearby power socket, you’re free to carry on with your day. Many of our customers leave us to it while they’re at work. We’ll let you know when we’re done and send you photos of the finished result.

Yes. If you're unable to bring your vehicle to our studio, we can collect it from your home or workplace and return it to you once the work is complete. This service is ideal for customers booking paint correction, ceramic coating, or any of our Prestige Studio packages. Get in touch when booking and we'll arrange the details with you.

Yes. Our mobile service is set up specifically for this. We come to you, work from our self-sufficient van, and return your car to you looking its best – all while you get on with your day. Many of our regular customers book us to come to their place of work on a monthly basis. All we need is a space to work and access to a standard power socket.

Yes. For more intensive services – such as multi-stage paint correction, ceramic coating, and our Prestige Studio packages – we work from a dedicated professional detailing studio in Hertfordshire. The controlled environment means no wind, no weather dependency, and no compromise on the finish. We also offer a vehicle collection and delivery service for customers who can’t visit in person.

Our ceramic coating of choice is the Performance PPL 10H Reign – a seven-year, professionally applied coating with a strong track record and manufacturer warranty. We use citrus pre-washes, pH-neutral snow foams, specialist leather treatments, and premium waxes and polishes across our full range of services. We’re happy to discuss specific products with any customer who wants to know exactly what’s going on their car.

Valeting typically refers to a thorough clean – Inside and out – using standard products and techniques. Detailing goes further: it involves professional-grade products, specialist equipment such as machine polishers, and a level of precision and care that goes well beyond a standard valet. A detail might include paint correction to remove swirls and scratches, clay bar decontamination, ceramic coating application, leather reconditioning, and much more. At Kieran Astridge Cars, even our entry-level services use detailing techniques and products rather than a basic valet approach.

For most drivers, we recommend a maintenance detail every four to six weeks to keep the car looking its best and to protect any coatings or wax already applied. A full detail – Including interior deep clean and exterior decontamination – Is worthwhile one to two times per year. For ceramic-coated vehicles, regular maintenance washes are essential to keep the coating performing at its best. Our monthly maintenance scheme is designed to make regular care affordable and convenient.
